What does it train you for?
The Urban, Regional and Environmental Planning Master Degree is the natural follow-up to the Town Planning and Urban Studies Bachelor Degree programme. It trains experts in urban design and sustainable territorial development. The skills gained through this Master Degree are those required in designing and managing territorial resources, building stock (both historic and contemporary) and complex systems such as landscapes and environments.
What do you learn?
Students learn how to become reference figures for urban and territorial transformation policies and projects, acting as mediators between the political sphere, social dynamics and territorial realities. Territorial planners’ fields of action range from the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage to ecosystem balance protection, from urban regeneration to smart city planning. Students thus become both skilled technicians and social sciences experts.
What can you do with it?
Graduates are capable of managing, coordinating and elaborating evaluations and strategic environmental and technical feasibility studies on urban and territorial plans and projects. Planners’ privileged interlocutors are public and private bodies operating in the field of urban and territorial transformation, infrastructure and transport, landscape and environment. This Master Degree also gives students access to the state examinations for the Agrotechnician, Surveyor Graduate, Agricultural Expert and Industrial Expert professions.
