What does it train you for?
The Master Degree program in Conservation Biology has been designed to educate professionals who are able to face today's challenges in the continuous and dangerous environmental crises caused by an incorrect biota management. The program offers a multidisciplinary approach aiming to teach planning and methods to design projects for a sustainable management of species and biocenoses. This has become an undelayable need, today viewed as a prevention measure to preserve human health. A conservation biologist should be able to protect, save and restore the biota component of ecosystems by adopting a bottom-up approach, analysing all aspects ranging from the organism to its responses to environmental pressures. A conservation biologist is a specialized professional, especially in terrestrial habitats, who integrates field sampling techniques with lab biological analyses, using the most advanced technologies, all in line with the most updated legal and economic regulations, as indicated by the EU with the European new Green Deal.
